Description
Monte, the University of Montana’s beloved mascot, is arguably the most recognized and adored member of the UM community. With his playful spirit and ability to bring people together, Monte represents the absolute best of Griz Nation. This proposal suggests Monte be honored as an honorary member of the University of Montana Staff Senate (UMSS). His presence in UMSS will further reinforce our goals of inclusion, spirit, and community engagement.
