The interviewees, ranging from 19 to 73 years old, describe their childhoods, relationships, and careers; how they came to understand their sexuality and/or gender; LGBTQ activism and community in Montana; the AIDS epidemic in Montana; and the attitudes of straight, cisgender Montanans toward LGBTQ people.
