This collection includes thirty-two interviews with Boone and Crockett Club members who detail how they became involved in the Club as well as the significance of the Club and its legacy. The interviews were conducted from 1977 to 1996. The interviewees discuss the history of the club and its move from Washington, D.C. to Missoula, Montana. They describe their membership in the club and talk about various wildlife and conservation projects, particularly in the northwestern United States, and the role of hunting in conservation. The original interviews are held as Oral History collection OH 297 at Archives and Special Collections, Mansfield Library, University of Montana-Missoula.
